すでに日本政府は世界から軽蔑されている。次に、軽蔑されるのは国民だ。
日本政府に対して怒りを表明しないことは軽蔑に値する。

なぜならば、市民が政府に対して強烈なメッセージを起こさないせいで、政府が何もしなくても良いと思っている、と判断されるからだ。
政府がしっかりしないのは国民がゆるいからだと、みなされるだろう。

震災当初、日本人にむけて世界中から発信された賛美は、やがて呆れや軽蔑、無関心に変わっていく。
「日本人の忍耐が被害を大きくした」と言われるかもしれない。
