事故後に、所長以下関係者が発電所へ集まって対応を協議しましたが、約2ヵ月後に控えていた2号機着工などに影響があると考え、最終的に所長が外部へ報告しないことを決断しました。
事故に関するデータを改ざんして必要な記録を残していませんでした。
